Safety First: G6PD Screening Required
High-dose vitamin C isn’t right for everyone. Before your first high-dose infusion, we check a G6PD blood test, because people with G6PD deficiency can have a serious reaction to high doses of vitamin C. Kristy Beard, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, also reviews your kidney health, any history of kidney stones, and your medications.
If you have diabetes, high-dose vitamin C can cause falsely high fingerstick glucose readings for several hours after your infusion. We’ll go over this with you before you start.

At Elevate Health and Wellness, we provide high-dose IV vitamin C as part of a personalized, integrative plan, in a calm, comfortable outpatient setting.
Every patient is screened by Kristy Beard, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, including G6PD testing before high-dose infusions and a review of kidney function and medications. For patients under active specialty care, including oncology, we only proceed in coordination with the treating provider and keep you updated.
We do not require a referral.
